Hello, my name is Evair. I live in São Paulo, Brazil. At the age of 42, I suffered an ischemic stroke. While working, I was taken to a public hospital and, without receiving adequate care for my case and due to a lack of equipment and medication; added to the delay in identifying what had happened, I had another stroke, this time a hemorrhagic one. I was in an induced coma for 3 months and, after 1 year in the hospital, I arrived home to continue the process of motor and functional rehabilitation, due to the many motor and speech sequelae. But in 2021, my life was transformed after I shared my life story during a program on a Brazilian television channel that made me come back from everything that happened. Since then, I have been helping people who have gone through, are going through, or will go through similar situations to mine around the world; through YouTube channels and profiles on TikTok and Instagram.
