2025 is a transformative year for us at Madglove – it’s the year we officially bring our glove to market! But even before our big launch, we’ve already hit some incredible milestones that we’re excited to share with you.
Every achievement reflects the dedication, innovation, and passion we pour into creating Madglove. But none of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our partners celebrating them.
Kicking Off the Year with Our Community
What better way to start 2025 than by bringing together the people who make Madglove what it is? That is exactly why in January, we hosted our first event of the year: a New Year’s lunch.
But this wasn’t just any gathering – it was a moment to reflect, share exciting updates, and most importantly, connect with the incredible individuals who have been instrumental in our journey.
That is why we spend the day with our partners, collaborators, and ambassadors who have been playing a crucial role in shaping our mission. Together, over great food and even better company, we toasted to the progress we made in 2024 and shared some exciting news about what’s ahead in 2025.
Starting from our roots at Demonstrator Lab Amsterdam to the passionate ambassadors and partners who help bring our vision to life, this event was a powerful reminder of the collective force behind Madglove. Above all it was the perfect way to express our gratitude and set the tone for an exciting year ahead.
Securing the Rabobank Innovation Loan
Right before our New Year’s celebration, we hit another massive milestone: securing the Rabobank Innovation Loan! This funding is a pivotal milestone, that allows us to accelerate our mission and bring our glove to more people who need it.
Our COO, Jeremiah Oluwatobi Makinde, summed it up best:

Martijn Starre, Startup & Scale-up Banker Healthcare at Rabobank, also emphasized the significance of this partnership:

For our CEO, Mădălina Antonia Riurean, this funding represents more than just financial support:

With this investment, we’re taking big strides toward making Madglove more widely available. And as if that weren’t exciting enough, another major win quickly followed.
Final of the Dare to Dream Challenge
Because we did not stop our journey on Rabobank achievement. Just a few days later our CEO, Mădălina Rîurean, took the stage at the Dare to Dream Challenge – a competition where five visionary female entrepreneurs pitched their groundbreaking ideas to a panel of investors. And as a result we thrilled to announce that Madglove secured €17,500 in funding to continue developing our glove!
Since beyond the financial boost, this challenge opened doors to invaluable mentorship and guidance from angel investors, who are now helping us scale our mission to new heights.
Thanks to this experience, we have been reinforced of the importance of supporting women-led businesses and healthcare innovation. Consequently it was an honor to be recognized among such inspiring entrepreneurs and to gain the resources needed to keep pushing forward.

Starting from celebrating our community to securing crucial funding, the first month of 2025 has already been packed with milestones that bring us closer to our ultimate goal: making home rehabilitation lifestyle more accessible and empowering individuals to support them in their daily life.
