  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects over a million people in Europe alone. It is an autoimmune disorder where the myelin sheath, covering our nerves, is lost, resulting in symptoms such as pain, fatigue, reduced mobility, and cognitive dysfunction. Although the exact cause is still unknown, both genetic and environmental factors are believed to play a role. While there is no cure for MS, various treatments are available to manage symptoms and slow disease progression.

  • Stroke is a medical emergency, which happens to around 13.7 million individual annually and is one of the main leading cause of disability worldwide. According to the world stroke organization, 1 in 4 adults will have a stroke in their lifetime. It occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted or reduced, causing brain cells to die. When this blood supply is disrupted, the brain can’t get the oxygen and nutrients it needs, and brain cells begin to die. This can result in a variety of physical and mental problems.
